NEWTON FALLS — Kenneth E. McGregor, 90, of Newton Falls, handed away peacefully at his home, Wednesday, Sept. 7, 2022.

He was born Dec. 17, 1931, in Akron, the son of the late Earl F. McGregor and Gertrude J. Garon McGregor. Ken had lived in Newton Falls considering that 1942, going from Akron.

He graduated from Newton Falls Large School in 1949. He served in the Air Force from 1950 to 1954, and obtained his honorable discharge. Mr. McGregor retired from Bank One particular in 1989, as vice president of branch revenue and provider in cost of all Trumbull County department places of work. He was the branch supervisor of the Newton Falls business office of Lender A person (The Union Savings and Have confidence in Business) from 1972 to 1983, until eventually his transfer to the Warren and Youngstown business office of Bank A person. He was a 1974 graduate of the University of Wisconsin Graduate School of Banking and the College of Oklahoma Graduate Faculty of Professional Lending in 1976.

He was energetic in the local community of Newton Falls as follows: as a constitution member and president of the Newton Falls Jaycees president and treasurer of the Newton Falls Chamber of Commerce chairman of the first committee Newton Falls Constitution Review recording secretary and treasurer of the Newton Falls Knights of Columbus Council 3350 chairman of the Newton Township Zoning Board of Appeals chairman and clerk treasurer of the Board of Trustees the Newton Falls Joint Hearth District and a member of the Newton Falls American Legion Submit 236 and the Newton Falls Rotary Club. He was an avid lover of the Cleveland Browns, Cleveland Indians and The Ohio Condition Buckeyes.

Mr. McGregor is survived by his spouse, Madeline (Carey) McGregor, whom he married July 14, 1956 one daughter, Linda S. Grunder of Newton Falls and one particular son, Donald M. McGregor of Newton Falls six grandchildren, David (Sally) McGregor, Jason (Allison) McGregor, Sasha McGregor, Kelsey McGregor, Robin (Dan) McLaughlin and Rachel (Anthony) Mattozzi 12 fantastic-grandchildren, Thea and Jace Brown, Daniel McLaughlin, Courtney Hankins, Logan Grunder, Paige McGregor, Wyatt McGregor, Dylan McGregor, Landon McGregor, Ella Grunder, Jacob McGregor and Kendrick Holloway.

Kenneth was preceded in demise by his mom and dad and a single grandson, Ryan Grunder.

Contacting hours will be from 3 to 5 p.m. Monday, Sept. 12, 2022, at the James Funeral Home in Newton Falls. A funeral Mass will instantly observe at 5 p.m., with the Rev. Fr. David Merzwelier officiating. Cremation will follow the assistance. He will be laid to rest in St. Joseph Cemetery in Newton Falls.
