Biography

I worked in networking and IT for about 22 years, 8 years at a major midwestern university computer center, and 14 years as CEO of a non-profit state research and education network. Before that I was a media technician at the K-12 level, and I also worked in parachurch youth ministry for several years after college. Virtually all of that was stuff I learned on my own--my degree is in journalism. These days I'm Director of Media and Communications at my church, and I'm an active blogger. I've also been leading contemporary worship at my church for the last nine years. I'm a Mac guy, through and through, but I like Linux, too, and I like Drupal (and Wordpress).
