They're bland, they're stock, they look like 1,000 other sites on the internet. Let's take a step forward and make our ministry sites unique, shall we? We shallOn today's minicast, Rob talks about laying out your CMS design in photoshop first, before moving right into the CSS and HTML coding. Doing this gives you some more freedom and enhances the creativity of the site's look. However, we always need to keep in mind that, at some point, this will have to be a website, not just an image. So, we need to plan ahead...
Rob talks about document settings for your layout and file formats to save your images in. Why should you use the "Save for Web" instead of the "Save" command? Rob fills ya in.
So, fire up Photoshop and get creative. Afterall, God has made each of our ministries different and unique...let's not settle for a stock look if we can help it!

That was some great info in the mini podcast about Photoshop to CMS. I am starting to get more involved with web design with our youth. I don't have to tell you but a lot of youth sites are hard to look at. I just have a suggestion if you guys could add show notes for each show. I know you guys have nothing better to do than spend more time working. Just kidding you guys are doing a great job keep it up.
