I'm a big craigslist fan. I've sold a few things and gotten a few gigs off of it so the short answer is nothing is wrong with it - its the absolute best.
Having said that, I was prompted to build this site because for the most part everything I've ever sought or advertised as a church, minister or Christian has been unsuccessful on craigslist. Why? Because the majority of people are not in ministry or Christians looking for Christian things/situations.
To make matters worse, if you Google Christian classifieds you get a bunch of no longer in business sites, impossible to navigate sites, strictly for pay sites and other sites that for one reason or another are not real friendly or effective. I'm sure somewhere there are exceptions.
"secular" classified sites on the web are great, but most are like wide paintbrushes. I'm looking to provide the same fast, easy, ergonomic experience but with a fine brush for the Christian community.

All,
I created a huge web app the "sluggo" way - from scratch and all by myself. I did my best to secure it and make it ergonomic but instead of another several months of testing on my dev server I decided to launch it to see how it will fly in the real world. I do everything the sluggo way! :-)
I would like to invite you folks to have at it. I have future plans to make it ajaxy and tweak the design a little more but the main thing right now is to know that its stable and friendly enough for prime time.
the URL is: http://christslist.com
I installed a forum for bugs, issues and suggestions, I'd appreciate some feedback over there.
Blessings!
