New development --- I got it working on my local drive....then when I upload it the screen is blank.
Can someone please tell me what is going on /huh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="huh.gif" />
This is the Youtube video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eiOh3uTjZ3w

Still no video /dry.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="<_<" border="0" alt="dry.gif" />
I've got it working using a slightly different approach

Found here: http://www.its.ex.ac.uk/latis/resources/fl...s/flvplayer.php
Of course the video isn't fitting nicely in my box....back to playing with the size.... /wacko.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="wacko.gif" />
Final thought:
I only tested in Windows FF and IE6
Would someone please tell what this looks like on a MAC and other browsers
Also, I'd be interested in someone without flash 8 or greater --- you should get an upload message.
Please let me know!
Thanks!

this might be a day late and dollar short, but if you have the flv file, you could play it in the flash player such as http://www.jeroenwijering.com/?item=JW_FLV_Player
Works great, and it streams.
Just my .02
I'm launching a new temporary page to help with DVD sales on my site. Take a look at it here:

I own the rights to that You Tube video and am actually waiting for the producer to send it to me in SWF. But being the impatient, inquisitive, always in search of another way person that I am...I am trying to do it myself
/smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />
I downloaded the FLV from You Tube using a site called keepvid.com ---- I also downloaded / installed a 30 day free trial of Flash CS3 Pro and a couple of other shareware / freeware conversion untilities.
I also have Macromedia Dreamweaver 8 and I tried to insert the FLV and nothing happens.
From what I am reading in Wiki the FLV goes "inside" an SWF....so I still need to convert?
I'm thinking I probably have the necessary tools to get the job done, I am just missing a step somewhere!
Oh, I also own Swishmax and Pinnacle Studio 9 --- but I don't think those will work.
If anyone can tell me how to turn that 2:30+ clip on the link above into an SWF that I can easily embed in my site, I'd be most appreciative!
Thanks!
