Flash Cms Programmer Needed

Greetings,

I am doing damage control for a new client who paid a programmer for a flash cms for his website and the programmer didn't finish the work. I am looking for someone to step in and finish the cms, or at least get into the code and let me know what it's going to take to make the site customer updateable again.

the website is located at www.earl-angelos.com

I do not have a budget for this yet. I need someone to give me an idea of how much work it will be to fix the problem and then provide the client with a quote.

We are a web design company that does work for business and christian ministries. This is a good opportunity for an actionscripter to prove themselves with something small that could lead to more contract work in the future.

I've been active in this

I've been active in this bored for quite some years now, and there really aren't too many flash / action script people who post here. Not regularly anyway.

There might not be many

There might not be many replies to this because it sounds like a nightmare of a job to take on.

I was curious why someone would want a CMS created in flash as this is not very practical, and also why a flash back-end, when there is no flash front-end?

Creating a CMS is no small task as you stated in your post, especially when it is flash and you have to figure out where someone else left off and try to program with their same patterns and techniques.

These are just a few things you might want to consider. Sorry I could not help any further.

Ditch and start again...

The site looks extremely basic—it essentially contains just one header image, five pages that only contain text, and a single mailto: link. If the site owner simply wants to be able to edit the type of content that is currently there, the custom backend should just be ditched and the content redeployed in something like Drupal... it wouldn't take very long, and would leave them with a much more secure (in both senses of the word) platform for the future...
