I guess this fits under what not to do, but I recently viewed a site in which the site owner was antagonistic towards other Christians and publicly cut someone down over doctrinal disagreements and then placed a link to how to become a Christian there at the bottom of the page.
Someone interested in becoming a Christian would probably not wander into a site like that and seeing Chrisitans treat one another like that probably wouldn't encourage them to become one themselves.
This probably fits better with the topic though:
It seems odd that I would have an evangelism strategy based upon the writings of Ayn Rand, but there was something interesting she included about the character of Ellsworth Toohey. He sought to affect social change through his articles on architecture. He did so not by making it part of his introduction or conclusion, but as a given in the content. If you come out and assert something as the primary purpose of the article then people prepare to defend themselves, but it is accepted more readily when it is included as the basic worldview in the piece.
I believe we need more general content with a Christian worldview that doesn't have "GENERAL CONTENT WITH A CHRISTIAN WORLDVIEW" flashing on the page. Why should the devil have all the good content sites?
People are very hungry for stuff like that. Look at te attention drawn by the Matrix movies. People dig furiously for something Christian in them even though they are so completely not Christian.

I agree. I think this goes directly back to a reply I made last night in this topic forum, about the need for acceptance. Some Christians are too readily needing to be right, and for the need to "debate" and prove what they 'know' is right.
"A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love on another. By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another. (John 13:34-35
If we would take a moment to calm down, and truly love each other, as Christ has loved us, THEN the world would see a difference in Christianity, and would say "hey, I want some of that!"

It's always good to hear of exciting and unexpected ways of making a creative starting point for web evangelism sites. I certainly believe that a key to reaching people is Bridge Strategy sites.
There are, I am sure, very many creative ideas that no one has even dreamed of. For instance check Essay Generator as an example of a zany approach which is pulling in hits amazingly.
Let's use this thread to throw in other creative possibilities!
