Every year we put on a passion play in the days leading up to Palm Sunday. It is a huge undertaking, and it keeps getting bigger. This time we have about 140 people on stage, 30 techs, plus staff, volunteers and random moms and dads helping out. It is an opportunity to present the Gospel in a fresh way, and people are making commitments to Christ. It is just a real joy to be a part of this effort. (I have family onstage, but my only contribution is the web site and sending mass emails.)
We have put on four performances in three days, and the fifth and final one is tomorrow. I am looking for prayers for the cast, crew and staff, who are very tired, and for the effectiveness of the final presentation tomorrow for Kingdom purposes. It starts at 2:30 PM EST Sunday April 5.
