Let's make it easier.

Hi guys and gals! My first topic here, I just discovered the site:

Here's my issue, and I know how I would handle it, but I'd like to hear some other opinions.

Our church has one computer that runs media shout. The video card in the computer is an nvidia 8400GS, and it has two DVI outputs. One goes to the (widescreen) monitor and one goes to (1280x1024) projectors.

There are two projectors in the church, both showing the same thing.

We also have a DVD player, and a VCR.

I need to be able to choose the output going to the projectors without plugging in and unplugging cables (which they currently do.) and I'd like to have that show up on the local monitor, but I guess that isn't mandatory.

There is currently a box that the computer output runs into, and that pushes the display to the projectors, but there is nothing on the desk that whomever is running the service can see. So when a bluefish video is played, they cant see the controls.

I'd like to find a multiple input/output box that will support various formats but kick everything out to the projectors and monitor over a d-sub VGA cable, so that I can maintain the 1280 resolution.

Any thoughts?

thanks!
