OpenAtrium?

Hey Rob and Matt!

How about a show discussing Atrium and it's pros and cons in the church/ministry/missions environment?

I just saw Rob's tweet saying that he was moving a client to it, so I'd be hoping to hear how that went, pitfalls, successes, etc.

Thanks and keep up the good works!

Good topic

I think you're right, this could be a great discussion. Both Matt and I now have some experience with it, I'd love to talk about our experience in the light of a church or ministry setting. Just to clarify, when I started to use it this week, it wasn't for a client..it was for the Mustardseed project management system...so it's not really for a church/ministry usage.

Anyway, I'm not sure it could be a whole episode, but part of one for sure. Thanks for the suggestion!

No problem...

Actually, discussing its value in terms of project management would be a HUGE help to a bunch of us out there as well... Just to discuss the highlights and some helpful uses you've found out would be fantastic!

Quick question for someone like yourself that has some experience with OpenAtrium... if I'm a feelance drupaler looking to setup a web presence, do you think this would be a good avenue to choose given it's project management applications, or would you have a separate "project.yoursupersweetdomain.com" to house it?

Thanks again for all the good work you guys do!

I use a subdomain

I do what you're suggesting with the subdomain...all my project management happens there, then my main site is at the main domain. They don't share a database or anything, but they are a multisite install just to make updating simpler.
