Howdy all,

So I want to create a banner rotator-type thing like at these websites:
http://www.covlife.org/
http://www.gty.org/
http://www.nba.com/

Basically, I want one main big picture (possibly some associated text). There would be some thumbnails (probably three). The system would cycle through the thumbnails automatically and display the correlated big picture. One could also click on (or possibly hover over) a thumbnail and the big picture would show. nba.com is the closest to what I want. Then you can click on the big picture to go the associated node -- or maybe I don't want a link behind it. I'd like the option either way.

I'm thinking of Views Carousel and/or Views Rotator. I'd create an image cck field and another text field for each content type and use a view to display. But I'm not sure which module(s) to use. It seems that Views Carousel might get me the thumbnails, and Views Rotator might get me the big picture to cycle through. But how do I sync 'em up? Or is there a module that does both?
