I like the majority of it, but the orange text on that brown background is hard to read. Maybe it's just because it's actually smaller than it would be in actual implementation, but it may still have accessibility issues. The contrast just doesn't provide enough for people who would have trouble reading to distinguish the letters enough to read, I think.
I would limit your use of dropshadows. There are some ways of implementing them effectively, but it usually involves images, or cumbersome code. There are other techniques you can use that have a similar effect or have a similar purpose.
Borders are a good way to get the same effect and the color of the border can serve the same purpose if done right.
