Hey Doug...
It's always awesome to hear we're actually helping folks out there. Thanks for listening and the encouragement!

dheacock welcome to community. Sorry it took me a little bit to respond. I was on my honeymoon. Actually, not even back into the swing of things yet.
Glad to be able to help. That's what keeps us going.

Hey, thanks for the drupal pod casts.
Is there somewhere to find all of the URLs in one place for each of the drupal pod casts?
I'm using unbuntu linux and have a working lamp set up that I use for designing web sites. I'd be very interested in a pod caste the deals specifically with running drupal in the user/public_html file rather than var/www. I'm especially interested in the permissions aspect.
I was listening to episode 31 and following along. When I installed the drupal files into user/public_html I no longer had access to my server through the web browser!
Anyway, very helpful and a great service.

You should be able to install drupal into any subdirectory as long as your setup meets the system requirements.
Did you turn on clean urls? Are you getting a white screen? What's happening?

RF & MF: I have to re-iterate what was said above. You guys have done an awesome job on the drupal podcasts - really deep, well done. I have several on my iPod (specifically the CCK/Views/Modules-related casts), and they are so detailed that I find myself listening to them over and over, just to get the most out of them!
Rob, MF:
I'm a new listener, and I'm still catching up on past episodes, but I'm loving the series on Drupal (I'm about halfway through it)--thanks so much for your thorough coverage of a very cool CMS.
I use Drupal for my worship blog site, and my buddy Glen (our Webmaster at my church) uses it for the church site now, too. Your Drupal series has already clued me in on some things that I could do a lot better with my site, and has helped explain some stuff I didn't understand all that well.
I'm really more of an administrator in my day job (I mostly go to meetings and sign stuff, these days), but managing the church Internet server helps me keep my hand in the geek side of things, and I love it.
I've put some audio up on my blog site--a couple of guitar pieces I recorded and several teaching sessions (I also teach a college Bible study), but I'm thinking about doing a "real" podcast at some point, too.
Anyway, thanks very much for your show, and keep up the good work!
God bless you both, Doug
