There are 3 places we deal with artwork.
1) On the podcast itself. If you have an image (160px by 160px) upload it to your server, go to feedburner, and it smart feed you should be able to give the path to the image. This is the one that will be used in iTunes for your podcast.
2) There is episode art. If you are using the audio module there is a module that lets you attach images for the album art. You can use that to attach them to the files.
If you have anything that modifies the ID3 tag it works by wiping out the old ID3 tag and adding a new one. So, if you add an image for album art on your computer and then you use drupal to alter the artist and other ID3 tags the image will be blown away. So, you either need to deal with all the tags on your computer or have drupal manage your album art.
3) In the post itself. You'll notice that the image we use going out in the G&G feed items body. You can use the contemplate module to format that in the feed item.
Hope this helps.

I was just curious as to how I was going to do this as well. Searched the geeks and god forum and found this post. I tried out Matt's suggestion of pushing it through Feedburner as that seemed like a no brainer solution.
Burn a new feed through Feedburner, then head over to the settings for the feed, select Optimize and then choose "SmartCast" (accessible at "http://www.feedburner.com/fb/a/smartcast?id=[idnumber]"). Activate Smartcast then enter in the URL to your iTunes podcast feed image.
I just got this to work with a test podcast feed that I created using Views2, and it worked very well!
Hello. I recently just started my new podcast cast through mypodcast.com
"Venaccio Power Hour"
Each episode is 60 minutes of mixed music and usually contains around 10-12 different songs.
My question deals with album art:
I'd like to have the artwork change as the song changes. I can easily make all the necessary artwork, I'm just curious about how the rest of this works.
Thank you.

Hey venaccio,
I'm not a podcast guru, but an Enhanced Podcast can contain chapters, links, and art and is saved as an MP4.
You'll need authoring software, like GarageBand, to encode it.
Does that answer your question?

We've launched our podcast, finally, which is at http://feeds.feedburner.com/lifesourcetv
You can also find the podcast over at itunes if you search for "lifesourcetv".
But how do I attach artwork to the "overall" podcast?
When I look at the podcast in itunes on my computer, I can't see any artwork. I am still having problems with getting the artwork to stay attached to the mp3 files, and I think that this forum post is probably the solution to that, but what about the artwork for the overall podcast? Where does this get set up?
Once the podcast itself has been submitted to itunes, how do we change the artwork if required? And do you know how long it takes for these changes to percolate through to itunes?
Thanks again for your help!
Cheers
Pete
