Ed, you're right, but what about an enhanced cast? I really like the flow of their show; even when Rob and Matt are discussing a topic which is of little interest to me, I end up listening and enjoying the episode. I wonder if this housekeeping draws in other listeners as well. Enhanced casts would limits users to iTunes, but that's what the whole world is using anyway. Blessings! -NP
iTunes is not the only place anymore. We get more than a few people from the Zune world, Google reader, and other places. Going all enhanced is pretty much out of the question.
Rob and I will talk about the housekeeping stuff before we meet again.

I'll chat that over with Rob before we record again. Thanks for the suggestion.

As a regular listener who had to stop listening for a few months, then returned to the show, and caught up on the missed episodes, here is what I found:
As I knew I'd want to listen to the whole show, I didn't mind hearing the feedback etc at the start of the show (apart from the "adverts" for the G&G conference, as I knew it had already been, and so I didn't need to hear about it, so I fast forwarded those bits).
So actually, for many people, keeping the show how it is probably is fine.
There are quite a lot of G&G podcasts that would be great to share with others because of the main part of the show - the teaching content. However, because there are often 15 minutes of so of introductory conversation, it it quite hard to get someone to get to the right place. Please could you consider starting the main teaching part of the shows earlier, and doing the "housekeeping" talking at the end of the shows?
