Our pastor prepares the presentation in PowerPoint, then we import them into ProPresenter3. Occasionally we have to adjust the positioning of the text on the slides, but for the most part it works very well.
Have you tried just using ProPresenter3 for everything and when you have a PowerPoint, just import it?
Depending on the layout and complexity of your slides, you may not need to do anything extra...
I did a little testing with this a few weeks ago and we found that it worked, but was prone to error due to a Mac PowerPoint Bug. The idea is that ProPresenter will display on the screen until you start the presentation in PowerPoint. At that time PowerPoint will show on the screen until you end the PowerPoint slide show. That part all worked great.
The issue comes in if you use the presenter mode on the Mac PowerPoint when running slide shows. If you use command-tab to switch to another application the mac will reset the displays to mirrored and change the resolution. The fix is to command click on the start slide show option in PowerPoint and not use presenter mode. We were very afraid that a volunteer would forget the "command click" during a service.
I found it better to use ProPresenter and Keynote together. The switching between them works the same as PowerPoint, without the command tab issue. Keynote seems to do a pretty good job of importing PowerPoint files and worked well for the time we needed it.

it is posible to mirroring(in Powerpoint) only a frame from the program (like in ProPresenter)? let me explain a little. In ppt is posibile, as far as i know, to display on the projector, only the entire desktop. In Propresenter 3, there is this little window in upper left corner which is showing the things that are displayed, and what you actually show to the viewers.so, propresenter is mirroring only this window to projector. is this posible in powerpoint?
Does this help: Using the Display Manager in PowerPoint
Our church recently purchased ProPresenter 4 and we are working on making the transition from KeyNote to ProPresenter. We have reviewed the online tutorials and still need some guidance in using this application. Trying to apply how we use Keynote (one complete presentation file for the whole Sunday service), just doesn't seem to be covered in the tutorials. Can anyone shed some light on how ProPresenter puts together a file for a service?
Thanks,

We use ProPresenter3 for each of our Sunday services. However, for our Wednesday services, our pastor, and some of the music staff, still uses PowerPoint. I prefer the overall look of ProPresenter and am attempting to use both programs in the services.
According to the FAQ section in ProPresenter help, you can switch smoothly between the two. I just don't understand how to do it. Can anyone offer suggestions?
I'd really rather not have to recreate the PowerPoint presentations in ProPresenter.
