The Big 3
Hey Peter, welcome to the G&G community! (I don't think I've seen you post here before)
I just did some research on ChMS systems for our church and came to the conclusion that there's 3 big companies doing ChMS systems on a level worth considering. Now, there are MANY more companies doing this too, but I found that almost all the other ones were clunky, out of date, or confusing to use. We came to the conclusion that the "big 3" in this area are:
All three of these are WIDELY used, have web based options, are rock solid, and offer a rich feature set (including what you're looking for)...it's just a matter of which one is right for you. All 3 offer 'demo sessions' where one of their team walks you thru the system with an online screencast.
Now, I'm sure other people have other ideas on which ChMS is best...but from all my research these three rose to the surface when other ones started to sink.

We have reached a point were we have outgrown our existing Church Management System and we have come to the realization that our current "white card" weekly data collection system is no longer working. We are trying to find solutions that work for a "growing" church that integrates visitor registration, child check-in, and Church Management Systems. We think we want a web-app, but also want something that is affordable for a church with a current weekly attendance of 1300.
I hope you guys can do something with this idea.
