Are you using friendfeed? If not, it's a site that lets you microblog (like twitter), aggregate your life (including flickr, your blog, twitter, etc.), and follow friends. To make this even more useful, if you want to follow someone who isn't on friendfeed you can add them as an imaginary friend and follow their stuff (like twitter, blog, etc.). If they end up joining they can become that imaginary person. So, you aren't bound by who is using the service.
