Podcasting is hot. Bottom line. These days, podcasting is the newest language of the emerging generation. If your ministry isn't doing it, you're missing out on the language of the day. Podcasting is just one more step to "being all things to all people, that they might be saved".

So, then the question becomes..."How do I podcast?" We're here to help.

This week, we start our series and talk about the basics of recording your podcast. We talk about planning your podcast length, location and type. We chat about recording over skype or iChat, and about why you should use headphones when recording.

We give the lowdown on USB mics and headsets, and talk about using GarageBand or Audacity to record your 'cast. We also talk briefly about using hardware recorders instead of software and setup suggestions for recording a live sermon or bible class and podcasting it.

But, before we dive into all that, we chat about how to help missing and exploited kids, some latest stats on friendship, and about how Rob's GSM phone may be making him dumber....

It's a fun filled episode...don't forget to call us with your questions about podcasting on the Geeks and God voicemail so we can use your question on the show...call (202) 984-3694 now!
